Dr. Wai-man Lam graduated from the National Taiwan University in 1979 and obtained Taipei Dental license and Hong Kong Dental license in 1980. After practicing in Hong Kong at Caritas Dental clinic from 1981 to 1983, Dr. Lam opened two private practices and served as a general practitoner in Hong Kong (districts of Hung Hom and Wong Tai Sin) from 1983 to 1996.

In 1997, Dr. Lam became a member of Ontario Dental Association and International Association of Orthodontics. Then came to open his own practice in Scarborough, Toronto until now.

As a native of Hong Kong, Dr. Lam speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Chiuchownese, Taiwanese, and fluent English.

Dr. Lam practices general dentistry encompassing, cleanings, fillings (mercury free), implant restoration, dentures, root canals, gum treatment, crown & bridge, preventive treatment, braces or straightening of teeth. Dr. Lam practices most types of general dentistry for people of all ages.
